Siberian Federal University 
Siberian Federal University (School of Non-Ferrous Metals and Material Science) offers Bachelor’s Degree Program “Automation of Technological Processes and Production in Metallurgy”.
The program aims to provide students with extensive knowledge of fundamental concepts underlying automation of technological processes.
Participants will learn major aspects of analysis of diverse manufacturing situations and by the end of the program will be able to fix certain common technological problems.
Theoretical courses are combined with on-the-job training at Siberian and Far East industrial enterprises.
E-learning is an integral part of the program.
25 students from Jamaica have successfully graduated from the program «Automation of Technological Processes and Production in Metallurgy» in 2020. They were enrolled in Siberian Federal University in 2016, and their education was fully supported within a scholarship provided by RUSAL. The company has several production units in Jamaica that need engineers and specialists in metallurgy, so the graduates will be highly employable in their home country. The University

Krasnoyarsk is the administrative capital of Krasnoyarsky kray — second largest region of Russia. It is a big industrial and educational centre with a population of more than 1 million people, and also an important junction of the Trans-Siberian Railway.
